Vacation Bible School Sports Camp, June 17-20

Your children are invited to join us for our second Mega Sports Camp VBS week! The camp will take place June 17-20, 2019 in the evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The camp will include many activities that your children can participate in, including basketball, softball, baseball, cheer, soccer, football, and sewing.

Last year, PGFUMC hosted this camp and had record attendance. You can view the photos from last year’s camp on our Facebook page. It was a wonderful experience enjoyed by all. So much so, that we are doing the camp again this year!

“It’s pretty much the best week of the year” said Brea Gragg, PGFUMC Youth and Children’s Director. “We get to play sports, learn about Jesus, eat good food, and have an impact on all the kids in the community. It’s wonderful!”

Parents that would like to have their child to attend must register via this online form.

Nebraska Day & Trail Ride Scheduled For June 8

PGFUMC along with area churches is planning a fundraising event on June 8, 2019 to raise money for the relief efforts in Nebraska. Local residents and their families and friends are encouraged to attend to enjoy a day of fun while also supporting a good cause.

The event is free to the general public, but donations are greatly appreciated. The event will be held at the church at 1401 E Parks St. in Prairie Grove. You can give online now or on the day of the event at pgmethodist.com/nebraska.

The event will include a trail ride, free food, games, live music, and much more. For questions, please email pgfumc@pgmethodist.com.

$1,600 needed for relief efforts.

After a meeting with area churches last night, the first part of our relief efforts has been identified. There are old utility poles that are being donated by SWEPCO that can be turned into posts for fencing in Nebraska. Prairie Grove is committing to getting those poles to Chance Ridge. This will cost at most $1,600, and we need donations immediately. Please give online at pgmethodist.com/nebraska or to your local church so that they can make arrangements.
